About Secret of Mana

Secret of Mana is an action role-playing game where combat occurs in real time, focusing on direct attacks. The player controls a protagonist who can be joined by two other characters managed by the game's system. A key element in combat is a stamina meter that influences the strength of physical strikes.

The setting involves a world where an ancient power called Mana was once harnessed peacefully until a conflict over a weapon known as the Mana Fortress. These events faded into myth over time. The story begins when a village boy discovers an old sword in a stone, an act that releases monsters and leads to his exile. A knight informs him the sword is a legendary artifact that must be restored.

Gameplay progression involves enhancing weapons, protective gear, and magical abilities, which can be leveled up. The player gains access to a variety of spells with different uses. The central quest requires the protagonist to find and secure Mana seeds scattered worldwide to stop them from being misused.
