Review

Collect colored bells to unlock special attacks and defeat Dr. Warmon in this cooperative platformer.

Pop'n TwinBee: Rainbow Bell Adventures was released on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) in 1994, first in Japan on January 7, 1994, and later in Europe in 1994. It is an original SNES game, not a port, so the original release year is also 1994.

About Pop'n TwinBee Rainbow Bell Adventures

Pop'n TwinBee Rainbow Bell Adventures features three selectable characters: Twinbee, Gwinbee, and Winbee. The game's objective is to confront the antagonist Dr. Warmon, who threatens the Dunburi islands.

Players have access to standard abilities including a shock wave and flight. The primary power-ups are colored bells, which grant specific attacks; for instance, a laser is provided by blue bells, while orange bells yield a lash.

A cooperative mode is supported, allowing a second player to control one of the remaining characters. The gameplay involves overcoming various enemies dispatched by Dr. Warmon, utilizing both innate skills and collected bell powers.
