About Pink Goes to Hollywood

Pink Goes to Hollywood on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System presents a platforming adventure structured around a central hub. From this starting area, the player as the Pink Panther can access various themed stages in a non-linear sequence. Each stage parodies a famous film, with titles such as Pinkenstein, The Pink Ranger, and Jungle Pink.

Progression relies on collecting tokens scattered through these movie set environments. These tokens function as currency, required to unlock new stages or to activate helpful set pieces like stairs, bridges, and temporary flight items. Exploration is encouraged, as hidden safe rooms can be discovered within the levels.

Combat involves more than simple jumps or a water spray. The character has access to an assortment of unconventional tools from a bag, including a fly swatter, a jackhammer, a bowling ball, and a detonator. Before starting, players can configure initial settings, selecting how many lives they begin with and setting the score threshold for earning additional ones.
