About Metal Combat: Falcon's Revenge

Metal Combat: Falcon's Revenge is a Super Scope light gun title for the Super Nintendo, functioning as a first-person shooter. The player acts as the gunner inside a giant robot called the Falcon, with the game automatically handling all movement and scene progression.

This entry continues the story from Battle Clash, where a new generation of rulers and their Standing Tanks have emerged despite the previous victory. The returning pilots use an upgraded Falcon to confront this renewed threat, a conflict that ultimately leads to a space-based conclusion.

Combat focuses on keeping an enemy robot centered in the targeting reticle to fire upon it. Players must also defend against incoming projectiles and strikes. Strategic targeting is encouraged, as each opponent possesses a specific weak point that yields greater damage. Success in certain stages grants access to special weapons like Neutron Beams and Plasma Bombs, which can be selected prior to engagement.
