About Hat Trick Hero 2

Hat Trick Hero 2 is a Super Nintendo soccer title supporting one or two players in either a single match or a longer world league mode. Its visual presentation employs a horizontal scrolling perspective enhanced by the system's mode 7 graphics.

Team selection involves choosing from eighteen national sides, each rated for specific attributes like speed and skill. Before a match, tactical decisions include picking one of five formations and appointing a captain from eight possible characters.

On-field play incorporates a power-up bar that fuels special moves. Draining this resource allows for a temporary burst of speed, while a full charge enables a uniquely powerful hyper shot executed via a specific button combination. Players can also apply spin to the ball after a shot and attempt risky tackles, though nearby referees may penalize these fouls with cards.
