About Dragon Ball Z: Super Butōden 2

Dragon Ball Z: Super Butōden 2 is a fighting game primarily set during the conflict with Perfect Cell. Its narrative scope extends to include the events of the "Bojack Unbound" film and the character Broli. Players can select from a roster including SSJ2 Gohan, Piccolo, Vegeta, Future Trunks, Perfect Cell, Cell Jr., Bojack, and Zangya, with Goku and Broli accessible via a code.

The gameplay retains certain systems from its predecessor, such as a split-screen display and special attacks, though the input commands for these moves have been simplified. New combat mechanics introduce Meteo combos for delivering multi-hit assaults. A strategic element involves holding buttons to rapidly replenish energy, and special moves can be countered to initiate a reactive button-pressing sequence between opponents.

Three distinct modes structure the experience. A story mode features branching paths that change based on battle results. For direct competition, a one-versus-one mode supports both human and CPU opponents. Finally, a martial arts tournament mode employs an elimination format where participants vie for victory.
