About DinoCity

DinoCity is a Super Nintendo Entertainment System title where players control two children stranded in a prehistoric era. Their accidental time travel, caused by a device mistaken for a movie screen, sets the stage for a rescue mission involving local dinosaurs.

The core action involves a human character riding a dinosaur companion through a series of stages. Combat utilizes basic methods like jumping on foes, punching, or using thrown objects. A strategic element exists where the rider can dismount to access higher platforms, though the human is more vulnerable alone.

Progression requires retrieving a stolen component from a group called The Rockies, who also threaten the dinosaurs' home. This shared goal leads to an alliance with two dinosaurs named Rex and Tops. The challenge is fair, governed by a life system where three hits result in a loss, with health recoverable via hearts found in levels. A constant time limit for each stage adds consistent pressure to the exploration and combat.
