About Darius Twin

Darius Twin is a side scrolling shooter where the player controls a Silver Hawk fighter to oppose an attack led by Belser. The game progresses through a sequence of distinct stages, each filled with enemy encounters and concluding with a large boss.

Player capabilities are enhanced by collecting power ups dropped by specific enemies. A notable departure from other titles in the series is the fair penalty for losing a ship; collected weapons are retained, and play resumes at the same point without a checkpoint setback.

The structure allows for branching paths toward the final stage. After completing a level, a map is displayed, enabling the player to choose the next stage to undertake.
