Also known as
Assault Suits Valken 重装機兵ヴァルケン 중장기병 발켄

Control a combat mech in this side-scrolling shooter, using machine guns, punches, and a jetpack to survive intense battles.

Cybernator (Assault Suits Valken) was released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in Japan on December 18, 1992, and in North America in 1993; the 1992 Japanese release is the earliest commercial release of this exact SNES version and also the original game's first release on any platform.

About Cybernator

Cybernator is a side scrolling action game where the player operates a piloted combat mech known as an Assault Suit. The setting is a future global conflict over dwindling resources, where the protagonist Jake is a Federation marine pilot.

Gameplay involves navigating battlefields horizontally, with the ability to jump and use a limited jetpack. Combat utilizes a starting machine gun and punch attack, with additional weapons and upgrades collected from fallen enemies. Progression requires defeating all enemies and a boss in each stage.

Some stages shift to a constantly advancing perspective, allowing movement in all four directions. A later PlayStation 2 release features modified graphics, adjusted gameplay balance, and includes a new introductory stage.
