Select a time traveling fighter for one on one battles or hazardous Deathmatch arenas.

World Heroes was originally released in arcades in 1992, and the Sega Genesis port was also released in 1992.

About World Heroes

World Heroes is a versus fighting game set in a future where Earth faces an alien threat named Geegus. To combat this, a scientist retrieves warriors from various historical periods using time travel.

The roster consists of fighters from different countries and eras, including ninjas and a cybernetic soldier. These characters are loosely inspired by real historical figures but possess supernatural abilities. Players choose one to engage in standard one-on-one combat.

Beyond standard matches, a challenging Deathmatch mode introduces environmental hazards like spiked walls and landmines. The core objective involves battling through a series of opponents to ultimately confront the alien entity.
