Fatal Rewind キリング・ゲーム・ショー

Navigate a vertical maze to escape rising liquid while collecting keys and managing limited weapon slots.

The Killing Game Show was originally released in 1990 for Amiga and Atari ST. The Sega Genesis/Mega Drive version, retitled Fatal Rewind in North America, was released in 1991.

About The Killing Game Show

The Killing Game Show is a vertical platformer where the player controls a criminal in a mechanical body, navigating upward through levels to earn freedom. Each stage begins with a rising liquid hazard at the bottom, requiring the player to reach the top exit before being overtaken.

Progression often depends on collecting specific keys to open matching gates or doors. The player can carry only one special weapon and one utility item at a time, such as a key or a liquid freezing tool. Enemy encounters are frequent, with adversaries that follow set movement patterns, making the game challenging and reliant on memorizing optimal paths.

A distinctive system allows players to watch a replay after death and resume from any point. Additionally, a map can be accessed at the start of each level to aid in route planning.
