Sonic the Hackable

Sonic the Hackable centers on Dr. Eggman's renewed campaign against Sonic, initiated from a location of personal significance. Following the crash of his Death Egg MK II near South Island, the doctor finds himself on the very site of his earliest loss to the hedgehog.

This return fuels his determination to build a final fortress there, repurposing an old base. His plan involves recovering the six Chaos Emeralds, which Sonic has misplaced, to reactivate the crashed spacecraft. The player's objective is to navigate this renewed threat and thwart Eggman's scheme.

The island's geography has been altered by the crash, with portions now submerged underwater due to the impact. This environmental change becomes part of the setting for the conflict.
