Sonic 1 Special Version

Sonic 1 Special Version functions as an enhanced edition of the original title. It provides an option to experience the base game with technical improvements and updated character capabilities.

Visual and audio elements have been revised, featuring altered color schemes and stage designs alongside new musical tracks for different level segments. The game expands its content with additional standard stages and introduces new Special Stages.

Encounters with bosses remain structurally similar but require more hits to defeat. This adjustment makes these confrontations more challenging compared to the original release.
