Clay Fighter is a 2D fighting game distinguished by its visual style, where every combatant is modeled from clay. This material choice directly informs the movesets and overall aesthetic of the experience.
The cast consists of unconventional fighters, each with a dedicated arena. These include a morphing Blob, a stretchable candy named Taffy, a snowman called Bad Mr. Frosty, and a pumpkin-headed ghost known as Ickybod Clay. Other participants are an Elvis impersonator dubbed Blue Suede Goo, an opera singer named Helga, and a clown called Bonker. Every character possesses unique taunts.
