About BattleTech: A Game of Armored Combat

BattleTech: A Game of Armored Combat places the player in command of a Mad Cat 'Mech, a large combat vehicle. The objective involves progressing through a series of levels by engaging enemy forces.

Environmental conditions like snow, ice, and swamps are present across various stages, and these terrains influence how the 'Mech maneuvers. Opposition comes in different forms, with smaller enemy 'Mechs being vulnerable to a stomping attack.

Combat is conducted with a diverse arsenal, which includes ranged options like homing missiles and rocket launchers, as well as close-range weapons such as flamethrowers and machine guns. More powerful ordnance like mines and atomic bombs are also available for use against the advancing adversaries.
