Review
Also known as
Tetris 2: Take On a Tougher Tetris Challenge! Tetris Flash テトリスフラッシュ

Clear colored dots by matching falling blocks to remove them from the playfield.

Tetris 2 (NES) was released in North America in October 1993, with the Japanese version (Tetris Flash) released in 1994. The original game on any platform was also released in 1993, as the NES version was among the first releases.

About Tetris 2

Tetris 2 presents a distinct puzzle challenge centered on colored dots placed within the play area. The objective is to remove these dots by covering them with falling blocks of matching colors.

Blocks come in three colors, corresponding to the dots. When a block is placed directly over or beside a dot of the same color, that dot and the covering blocks are eliminated. A special flashing dot exists for each color; clearing it will remove all other dots sharing its color from the screen. Success in a round depends solely on eliminating every dot, not on clearing the blocks themselves.
