About Popeye

Popeye is a game where the player controls the title character to gather falling objects dropped by Olive Oyl. These items must be caught before they reach the floor, and a specific quantity is required to advance.

The play area is structured with platforms and ladders that change with each stage. Hazards include moving enemies like Brutus, who will end the player's turn on contact unless temporarily disabled by collecting spinach. Additional threats come from airborne objects such as bottles and birds, which also cost a life upon collision.

Progressing to subsequent stages increases the difficulty, making the task more challenging. The core loop involves navigating the environment while avoiding these dangers to collect the necessary items.
