About Legacy of the Wizard

Legacy of the Wizard is a side scrolling action platformer where players explore a large dungeon divided into five distinct areas. The central objective involves retrieving the Dragon Slayer, a weapon needed to defeat a dragon named Keela, which is sealed by four magical crowns. Each crown is protected by a boss that must be overcome.

Control switches between five members of the Drasle family, each possessing unique movement, attack, and item usage capabilities. The available characters are the father Xemm, the mother Mayna who uses magic, their warrior son Roas, athletic daughter Lyll, and the family pet Pochi. The player can return to the family home at any time to select a different character for the dungeon exploration.

Progression depends on gathering specific items that are restricted to particular characters, alongside common power ups like gold, keys, health restoring bread, and magic potions found by defeating monsters. Gold serves as currency for purchasing helpful items from shops concealed within the dungeon. The final challenge requires using the retrieved Dragon Slayer to confront the dragon.
