About Gemfire

Gemfire is a Nintendo Entertainment System title from Koei that moves the developer's established strategic formula into a fantasy setting. The core objective for the player is to achieve control over the entire island nation of Ishmeria.

This conquest is pursued by assuming the role of a noble leader chosen by one of six freed magicians. These magical beings were released from a crown by Princess Robyn, who opposes her father, the tyrannical King Eselred. Unifying the provinces requires engaging in both martial conflict and political negotiation.
