Assemble giant burgers by dropping ingredients to crush pursuing food enemies.

BurgerTime was originally released in arcades in 1982. The NES version was released in Japan on November 27, 1987 by Data East, and in North America in May 1988 by Data East USA. The earliest worldwide commercial release on the NES platform is 1987.

About BurgerTime

Burger Time is a game where the player controls Chef Pepper, who is pursued by hostile food items such as eggs, sausages, and pickles. The primary objective involves constructing complete hamburgers by causing their various components to descend onto a lower assembly area.

This is accomplished by having the chef walk across each ingredient, which then drops down one level. A falling piece can eliminate pursuing enemies and will also push any ingredient beneath it further downward, creating chain reactions. For direct defense, pepper shakers can be collected to briefly stun nearby foes with a cloud, allowing safe passage.

The game becomes more challenging in later stages, which introduce different layouts, increased enemy speed, and a greater number of ingredients to assemble per burger.
