Bad Street Brawler was originally released for Commodore 64 and other computer platforms in 1987 as Bop' N Rumble/Street Hassle. The NES version was released in North America in September 1989 by Mattel.

About Bad Street Brawler

Bad Street Brawler is a side scrolling action game where the objective is to clear urban environments of hostile characters. Players can assume one of several roles, including a martial artist with a punk rock background, a professional wrestler, or a teacher driven to action.

Combat begins with fundamental strikes like punches and kicks. The experience evolves as additional offensive techniques are introduced and more varied adversaries appear throughout the streets.
