About Tasmania Story

Tasmania Story is a single-screen platformer based on a 1990 Japanese film. The game is essentially a remake of the 1984 title Fruit Panic, rather than a direct adaptation of the movie's narrative about a father and son searching for the extinct Tasmanian tiger.

Players control a man wearing a hat who cannot jump independently. Movement between platforms is achieved by using trampolines positioned on the left and right sides of the screen. The primary objective on each stage is to collect all plants, such as cactuses and flowers, which then advances the player to the next level.

The gameplay is made challenging by the presence of hostile Tasmanian devils. These enemies can be temporarily incapacitated by being dropped on from above or by being lured into walking over a bomb that the player can place.
