About Sneaky Snakes

Sneaky Snakes is a side scrolling platformer where players control a snake named Attila, with an option for a second player to join as Genghis. The objective involves rescuing Sonia Snake from a captor known as the Nasty Nibbler.

Progress through the sixteen stages requires consuming specific creatures called Nibbleys, which exist in several varieties. Once enough are eaten and the snake's tail grows to a required length, its body will signal readiness. The exit is then opened by positioning the snake on a scale.

Levels impose a time limit, creating a challenging pace. Clocks can be collected to extend this limit, while failure causes a giant ax to pursue the snake. Various power ups are available during play, including temporary invincibility, longer tongue reach, and improved jumping ability.

This title functions as a follow up to an earlier NES game, but shifts the perspective from an isometric view to a traditional side scrolling format. The core loop involves navigating hazards, collecting items, and meeting the consumption quota to advance.
