About Rockman World 3

Rockman World 3 for the Game Boy is an action platformer where Mega Man must thwart Dr. Wily's latest scheme. The villain has established an oceanic oil rig to drill for magma energy, intending to power a new robotic weapon.

The game's structure involves progressing through a series of stages, each culminating in a boss battle. Players navigate these levels by running, jumping, and shooting. An initial set of four bosses is followed by an intermission stage, leading to another group of four bosses before the final confrontation.

Its roster of antagonists is drawn from two NES titles, featuring Snake Man, Gemini Man, Shadow Man, Spark Man, Dust Man, Skull Man, Dive Man, and Drill Man. A unique enemy named Punk, who attacks with screw-based weapons, appears exclusively in this version.

A significant mechanical addition is the Mega Buster, a charged shot capability. By holding down the fire button, Mega Man can unleash a more powerful blast. The progression through multiple boss stages and the need to master this charging system suggests a challenging experience.
