Mole Mania

Mole Mania is a puzzle focused game viewed from above. The player controls Muddy Mole, whose family has been taken by a farmer named Jinbei, requiring their rescue.

Progress is made by clearing each area of enemies and collecting all cabbages. A defining mechanic allows the player to dig, revealing a separate underground map used to navigate past obstacles. This can lead to situations where the player becomes challenging to proceed, sometimes resolved by exiting and re entering a screen to reset its state.

A separate competitive mode for two players exists. One participant takes the role of Muddy collecting cabbages, while the other plays as Jinbei trying to prevent this. Roles are swapped after each round, with victory going to the player who secures the most cabbages.
