About Jelly Boy

Jelly Boy is a platformer where the player directs a pink, morphing blob. This character can jump and attack foes directly, but its primary capability comes from gathering power ups that alter its form and grant new functions, such as floating when changed into a balloon.

The adventure is organized into six distinct worlds, each containing eight individual stages. Progress through every level is constrained by a countdown timer, introducing a challenging pace. Survival depends on managing collectibles: fruit items eventually grant additional lives, while music notes act as a health buffer that is depleted upon taking damage; losing all notes results in the blob's demise.

While sharing core mechanics with its SNES counterpart, the Game Boy iteration presents a unique set of levels.
