About Hoshi no Kirby 2

Hoshi no Kirby 2 is a platform game for the Game Boy where the protagonist must prevent Dream Land from being transformed into a dark world. The antagonist Dark Matter has taken control of King Dedede, and Kirby's objective is to obtain a rainbow sword to confront this threat.

Kirby possesses innate flight ability and can absorb enemies to copy their powers, which distinguishes him from other platforming characters of the era. This installment introduces a system where Kirby can combine with animal companions, specifically a hamster, a fish, and an owl. Each partnership modifies Kirby's capabilities, and the copied powers can interact with these forms to create varied abilities.
