About Ganbare Goemon 2

Ganbare Goemon 2 for the Game Boy Advance is an adaptation of two Super Nintendo titles, which are action platformers set in a stylized version of feudal Japan. The player primarily controls the adventurer Goemon, who is joined by Ebisumaru in the second title, to combat threats across the land.

Gameplay involves navigating platforming stages while utilizing an assortment of weapons and items. These can be found during play or purchased from shops. The experience is diversified by the inclusion of various mini-games and other distinct gameplay sequences.

This portable version introduces several modifications, including a save function and minor adjustments. New features allow for character switching during play and add a new playable character specifically for the second game. Additional graphical effects and mini-games are present, with the latter becoming accessible from the main menu after they are unlocked.
