About Burai Fighter Deluxe

Burai Fighter Deluxe is a scrolling shooter where the player battles to prevent an alien conquest. The antagonists are the Burai, who deploy hybrid robotic-organic creatures in their campaign.

Gameplay involves navigating through both side-scrolling and vertically-scrolling stages with fixed layouts. The player's arsenal includes several gun types, such as laser, missile, and ring weapons, alongside a screen-clearing cobalt bomb.

This Game Boy version omits the top-down stages found in the original NES release. Its deluxe designation comes from the inclusion of a link cable versus mode for multiplayer.
