About Blodia
Blodia is a puzzle game where the player manipulates a grid of tiles to guide a rolling ball. Each tile displays a segment of pipe, either straight or angled, with one empty space serving as a movable gap.
The objective is to have the ball pass over every pipe segment. Tiles become blank after the ball rolls over them, and the puzzle fails if the ball encounters a blank tile or the hole. Early on, the ball will also fail if it exits the grid boundaries, though this rule changes later.
Movement is achieved by shifting a row or column of tiles using the empty space as a buffer. Clicking on a tile causes all tiles between it and the hole to shift one position, moving the hole to the clicked location. This mechanic is central to planning a safe path for the ball.
This Game Boy version includes all content from the TurboGrafx-16 release and adds further levels. The puzzle design becomes more challenging as players must account for the ball eventually wrapping around the playfield from one side to the opposite.
