About Batman : Return of the Joker

Batman: Return of the Joker is a Game Boy platformer where Batman's objective is to defeat the Joker. The journey involves navigating four distinct stages, with the final confrontation locked until three initial levels are cleared.

Batman's movement is aided by a grappling hook for crossing gaps and ascending, as well as a wall jump maneuver for vertical traversal in tight areas. His combat options include close-range punches and a supply of projectile batarangs for engaging enemies at a distance.

The stages, which include settings like Sewers and a Train, present various environmental hazards such as traps and moving platforms. Each concludes with a boss encounter where finding a specific weakness is required, as some adversaries cannot be harmed by batarangs. Scattered items for replenishing health and batarang ammunition can be found throughout the levels.
