About Asterix

Asterix is a platform game derived from the comic series of the same name. The setting is a version of 50 BC Europe where most of Gaul is under Roman control, with the exception of one village whose inhabitants possess a magic potion granting invincibility.

The player controls the mustached Gaulish warrior Asterix, who travels across various European locations. His objective is to find and rescue his captured friend Obelix, who has been taken by the Romans to an undisclosed location with the intent of being fed to lions.

Gameplay involves navigating through levels while confronting Roman soldiers and hostile wildlife. The core progression is built around this journey and the combative encounters that occur throughout.
