Alien vs Predator : The Last of His Clan

Alien vs Predator : The Last of His Clan is set on Alpha Centauri 3 in 2593, where a Predator clan's plan to hunt Aliens backfires catastrophically. The Aliens, having been introduced to the planet, multiply rapidly and eliminate both the human colonists and nearly all the Predators. A sole survivor deduces that an Alien queen is responsible for the overwhelming numbers and embarks on a mission to destroy it, aiming to restore his clan's standing.

Gameplay involves navigating side-scrolling, maze-like environments where the player controls this last Predator. A radar map assists in orientation and provides warnings about nearby foes. Progression requires finding keys to unlock doors that block access to new areas.

The Predator has access to several tools for combat and traversal. While wrist blades are a constant melee option, other weapons like a shoulder cannon and cutting disks require collected ammunition. Bombs serve a dual purpose, acting as explosives against enemies and as a means to break through certain obstacles. An invisibility system offers a stealth alternative to direct confrontation, though it drains an energy meter that must be replenished with specific power-ups found in the levels.

Enemies encountered include the full Alien life cycle, from eggs and facehuggers to chestbursters and mature warriors. The objective is to fight through these threats across multiple stages to reach and eliminate the queen. The environment and enemy variety suggest a challenging experience.
