About Sakura Taisen GB: Geki Hana Kumi Nyūtai!

Sakura Taisen GB: Geki Hana Kumi Nyūtai! is a Game Boy Color title that blends adventure and tactical combat. Set in 1920s Imperial Japan during the Taishou era, the story unfolds around a theater troupe whose actresses secretly form a mech-piloting defense force.

The player assumes the role of a new commander who reports to Ichiro Ogami and directs the brigade, which includes members like Sakura and Sumire. A core gameplay element involves relationship management during the adventure segments, which directly influences the characters' effectiveness in the subsequent turn-based battles. These strategic encounters are conducted entirely through menu selections.

Narrative progression is non-linear, offering significant branching. Player choices can lead to one of fourteen conclusions, including negative outcomes where the protagonist may be dismissed from the theater for misconduct.
