About Power Pro Kun Pocket 2

Power Pro-kun Pocket 2 is a Game Boy Color baseball simulation from Konami, developed by Diamond Head and released in 2000. Its core baseball gameplay functions similarly to its predecessor, offering twelve Japanese league teams for standard play. The experience is defined by its narrative-driven Success mode, which presents a challenging management scenario where a professional player must save a failing team, the Drill Moglars, from dissolution.

This primary story, the Drill Moglars Edition, requires managing the protagonist's weekly schedule for training, socializing with teammates, and pursuing romantic relationships. Failure to maintain the character's health, reputation, or win critical games results in a complete save file deletion, representing a challenging stakes system. Repeatedly completing this narrative unlocks a second, distinct scenario called "War," which shifts to a World War II setting and incorporates Minesweeper-inspired gameplay with unique rules.

Characters developed in either Success mode can be exported to build custom teams for exhibition matches, which support two-player link cable play. Transferring these characters between players is possible and preserves specific attributes necessary to unlock deeper narrative conclusions, including a harem ending for the Drill Moglars story and hidden truths in the War scenario. A compilation containing this game and its prequel was later released for the Game Boy Advance in 2004.

From here on, every Pawapoke has this opening text.
Hero 2 is ready to start his Baseball career, but are the Moglars any good?
Actually, the team has been through some hard times lately...
Hero 2 is certain he can help this shabby team get to the top!
The usual interface. Rather intuitive even without knowing Japanese.
Training at low health risks getting the protagonist injured, so watch out.
They sure get mad a lot.
