About Mickey's Racing Adventure

Mickey's Racing Adventure is an isometric racing game where players control Mickey Mouse and his friends. The story begins with Big Bad Pete stealing carnival floats and decorations, prompting a series of races to recover them.

Progression involves exploring a town to earn currency for vehicle improvements and locating train tokens. These tokens allow travel to different racing worlds where Pete and his gang must be challenged. A character named Magica de Spell offers magical assistance during races for a price.

Travel to new areas requires completing a train-based puzzle. The player must rearrange track tiles to guide the train, Casey Jr., to the exit while avoiding dead ends and activating TNT detonators. This presents a fair logistical challenge separate from the main racing.

Beyond racing, the game features a playable Pluto who explores to uncover secrets. His gameplay includes digging to access underground areas where objectives involve collecting bones or defeating other dogs by dropping rocks on them. This provides a distinct action-puzzle diversion.

The software utilizes specific Game Boy Color hardware features. It supports infrared communication for sending messages to other players and, after unlocking an in-game location, is compatible with the Game Boy Printer for producing Disney-themed stickers.
