About Dancing Furby

Dancing Furby is a Game Boy Color rhythm game featuring the interactive toy robot. Players follow scrolling button prompts in time with music, with a Furby character on screen reacting to their input.

The in-game Furby provides audio feedback in its fictional language, rating timing as perfect, acceptable, or a failure. Performance is scored using these ratings at the end of each track. A unique feature involves using the console's infrared port to transfer song data to a physical Furby toy, which can then play the melody unexpectedly.

Several Furby designs are available to select as a dance partner, with more unlocked through successful play. The soundtrack includes simple melodies like Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Für Elise alongside other popular tunes.
