VeggieTales: LarryBoy and the Bad Apple is a Game Boy Advance title where the hero LarryBoy must protect Bumblyburg. The town faces a threat from the Bad Apple, a villain who leads its citizens into wrongdoing.

Players navigate platforming stages with a focus on puzzle solving. The objective in each stage is to locate a green ticket before time expires. This involves maneuvering through environments by running, jumping, and rolling, while also avoiding hostile characters and using a swing mechanic.

Selecting the world to play. Naturally, at the beginning, there's only world one accessible.
A short non-interactive tutorial shows all new game mechanics and controls before each level.
I don't want to comment on this guy ...
Level statistics. If you did well enough, you get an extra life.
Red blocks can be moved and are used as platforms, since LarryBoy can't jump very high.
If you touch the onion, you get slowed down until the red bar has run down.

The peas pull back switches if they're not distracted by music.
LarryBoy can use his binoculars to get an overview of the level.
You can also use a climbing rope on the red blocks with the bull's eye.
