Tom and Jerry : The Magic Ring

Tom and Jerry: The Magic Ring is a side scrolling beat em up based on a direct to video film. The core conflict involves Jerry becoming stuck with a magical ring that Tom was supposed to protect, requiring them to fight through ten levels to remove it.

Combat involves using improvised weapons found in household settings, such as bats and plates, to inflict damage on enemies. The gameplay includes encounters with boss characters, one of which is Droopy the Dog making a debut videogame appearance as a mystic seer.
