About The Polar Express

The Polar Express for Game Boy Advance adapts the film and book narrative into a journey. The player controls the protagonist, referred to as the Hero Boy, on an adventure aboard a magical train destined for the North Pole.

Gameplay involves navigating through various environments, including the train's interior compartments, its furnace, and ultimately North Pole City. The objective is to reach Santa Claus. Throughout the journey, special items can be collected, such as a Pogo Stick, Balloon, or Magic Wand, which provide the character with new abilities. Some items, however, like a pair of socks, do not offer a beneficial power.

A segment of the game also allows the player to directly control the train's movement. The experience is structured around progressing through locations featured in the source material.
