About Popeye : Rush for Spinach

Popeye: Rush for Spinach presents a side scrolling platformer that functions as a racing game. The premise involves a competition between Popeye, Olive Oyl, Bluto, and Wimpy, who race through various worlds to reach a finish line.

Progression is made more challenging by environmental hazards placed throughout the courses. To counter these obstacles and increase speed, characters can utilize a variety of power ups, including vehicles, rockets, and unconventional items like pogo sticks and dinosaurs.

Beyond the primary Adventure Mode, which connects the levels with a narrative, the game offers additional ways to play. These include a versus mode for direct competition and a time trial mode.
