About Mobile Suit Gundam Seed : Battle Assault

Mobile Suit Gundam Seed: Battle Assault is a fighting game set during the Bloody Valentine War, featuring combatants from the Alliance and ZAFT forces. Players initially select from eight pilots, with four additional characters available to unlock.

Combat is structured around two primary attack types: close-range physical strikes and long-range beam or gunfire. A boost function allows for rapid ground movement and aerial maneuvering. A notable strategic layer exists before matches, where players can adjust their unit's capabilities, such as sacrificing boost efficiency to strengthen armor or increase health points.

The game includes a berserk state that units can enter, which lowers defensive properties but raises offensive power and grants access to a unique ultimate attack. For gameplay variety, several modes are offered beyond the core story, including training, time trials, survival, and both single-player free battle and a two-player versus option.
