About Mario Tennis : Power Tour

Mario Tennis: Power Tour is a Game Boy Advance title that blends standard tennis mechanics with character progression elements. Its primary mode involves guiding a new player through an academy to compete in a championship tournament.

Beyond typical tennis shots, the game incorporates special offensive and defensive power shots that can decisively end rallies or enable difficult returns. Progression is achieved by winning matches, which grants points to improve a character's attributes. These matches can be played solo or with a computer-controlled partner in doubles.

Character development is further supported by activities outside of tournament play. The academy setting allows for exploration, participation in training exercises, and mini-games designed to boost player stats. For immediate play, exhibition modes are available, while multiplayer options support using either standard characters or custom ones developed in the story mode.
