About Harry Potter to Himitsu no Heya

Harry Potter to Himitsu no Heya adapts the second book and film into an isometric action adventure for the Game Boy Advance. The setting is Harry's second year at Hogwarts, where the opening of the Chamber of Secrets leads to attacks on students.

Gameplay involves navigating maze-like environments where challenging sequences require combat, puzzle-solving, and operating mechanisms to progress. A set of six spells assists in these tasks. Avoiding detection is another key component, as being caught by faculty or prefects during stealth sections results in expulsion from the area and potential loss of house points.

Collectible items are scattered throughout, some hidden and some in plain sight. These include Famous Wizard cards for bonuses, Every Flavour Beans that provide shortcut passwords, and Chocolate Frogs to increase stamina. The sport of Quidditch returns as a separate activity, presented in a three-dimensional format from a behind-the-player perspective.
