Bura Bura Donkey

Burai Fighter Deluxe is a scrolling shooter where the player battles an alien army of hybrid robo-mutants. The conflict involves stopping the Burai, a species of intelligent aliens, from executing their universal conquest.

Gameplay involves navigating through levels that scroll both sideways and vertically, using a jet pack for movement. The arsenal includes several weapon types, such as lasers, missiles, and ring-based attacks, alongside a screen-clearing cobalt bomb.

This Game Boy Advance release omits the top-down stages found in the original NES version. Its deluxe designation comes from the inclusion of a versus mode for multiplayer, which requires a link cable connection.
