About Zwingo
Zwingo was one of those games you'd find on a Flash portal in the late 2000s. It fit right in with the simple, physics-based puzzles that were common then. You would load it in a browser window, and it would start almost immediately, no tutorial needed.
You control a ball attached to a fixed point by a stretchy tether. Moving your mouse pulls the ball, swinging it around the screen. Your goal is to clear each level by using your ball to knock away all the smaller black balls. The central challenge is protecting a stationary white ball in the middle; if it gets knocked out of the play area, you fail. The gameplay is fast and requires quick reflexes, as the black balls bounce around with persistent momentum. You learn to make calculated, elastic shots, using the walls to ricochet your ball into clusters. It feels like a tense game of digital billiards where you are both the cue and the only defender.
