About Zombie Rescue Squad

Zombie Rescue Squad was one of those games you'd find during the Flash era, a straightforward action title you could load in a browser. It came out in 2009, developed by XGen Studios, a name familiar to players of that time. The premise was simple: a plague had turned most people into zombies, and you were the lone operative tasked with saving the remaining scientists who could develop a cure.

You control a single soldier from a side view, running and jumping through urban and industrial levels. Your main job is to reach each scientist while fighting off waves of zombies. You aim with the mouse and shoot with a click, managing ammunition you find in crates. The double jump and a short-range teleport move help you navigate platforms and escape tight spots. The pacing is constant, with zombies appearing from both sides, creating a steady pressure. It feels like a focused scramble, where every shot and jump needs to count.
