About Zayo
Zayo was one of those games you'd find in the later days of Flash, a straightforward action platformer. It didn't try to reinvent anything, but it had a clear, simple premise that pulled you in for a quick session.
You control the rabbit, Zayo, moving left and right through a series of platform-filled rooms. The moment-to-moment play is about jumping over gaps, avoiding enemies, and using a mouse-aimed gun to clear a path. Your main goal is to escape the cage you start in and progress through the levels, which often involve finding keys or hitting switches to open doors. You can switch between a few different weapons, like a standard pistol and a shotgun, to deal with the various alien guards. The pacing is brisk, and the difficulty comes from managing your limited ammo while navigating the environmental hazards. It feels like a tense, scrappy fight for survival where every shot counts.
