About Your Turn
Your Turn was one of those straightforward action games from the Flash era. It appeared online around 2009, a time when many of us were looking for a quick, no-fuss way to pass a few minutes. The setup was simple: you were a lone survivor in a city, and the streets were not empty.
You control a character from a top-down perspective, using the arrow keys to move through the urban grid. Zombies shuffle toward you from all directions, and your job is to shoot them before they get too close. The main objective is to survive each wave, clearing the area to progress to the next, more crowded district. You manage ammunition with the R key and switch between a small arsenal of firearms using the number keys. Between rounds, you spend earned cash on upgrades for your weapons, choosing between faster firing rates or more powerful shots. The pacing is relentless; the difficulty comes from being surrounded and the deliberate delay when reloading. It feels like a tense, methodical scramble for space and a better gun.
