Winx Stella

Winx Stella was one of those Flash games you'd find on fan sites in the mid 2000s. It was part of a wave of simple, browser based dress up games tied to popular cartoons. You didn't need an account or a download, you just clicked and played.

You control Stella, a fairy from the Winx Club, and your job is to dress her. Using your mouse, you click through categories like tops, skirts, and accessories to drag items onto her. The main objective is to create a complete outfit, mixing and matching pieces from a limited wardrobe. The game has a clear separation between clothing layers, so a jacket goes over a shirt, and you can swap out shoes or change her hair color. It's a slow, relaxed process with no timer or score. The challenge, if you could call it that, was just in seeing what combinations you could make from the available options. Playing it feels like quietly organizing a paper doll's closet.
